✨ Slow down, step outside, and discover the joy of drawing without pressure.

Join artist and educator Katie Sims for a relaxed and welcoming creative workshop centred around observation, play and wellbeing. Using a beautiful mini A6 pocket sketchbook, you'll explore simple shadow-drawing activities inspired by nature, light and the world around you.

This workshop isn't about creating a masterpiece. Instead, it's about enjoying the process, taking notice of your surroundings, and allowing creativity to become a tool for mindfulness and self-care.

Working with natural shadows cast by plants, flowers and found objects, you'll experiment with line, shape, pattern and mark-making in a gentle and accessible way. Katie will provide prompts, demonstrations and encouragement throughout, helping you let go of perfection and enjoy the journey.
